Introducing the Creator of Fare Om (2017) and the culinary visionary behind "Om Made,” a unique local food service provider, our esteemed team member and mother of two, Isabelle.
With a diverse background in business management and communication, Isabela brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. As a seasoned trainer, she conducts workshops on various topics including emotions, non-violent communication, and stress management, empowering individuals to navigate the complexities of interpersonal dynamics.
Additionally, her passion for language and literacy extends to teaching writing techniques in French to diverse audiences. She also offers tailored conversational French lessons at different proficiency levels, providing students with the tools and confidence to engage with the French language and culture.
Having graduated from the esteemed "Laughter Yoga" program, Isabelle infuses her teaching style with joy and positivity, creating engaging and transformative learning experiences. Her extensive international experience living in English-speaking countries such as England, India, New Zealand, and Australia has enriched her cultural understanding and linguistic versatility, allowing her to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
Meet Joana, our dynamic FLE (Français Langue Étrangère) teacher with over 13 years of experience in the Pacific region. Joana's passion for teaching French has taken her on an incredible journey, beginning with six enriching years at the Alliance Française in Vanuatu before she returned to settle in Tahiti.
Throughout her career, Joana has garnered a reputation for her infectious energy and innovative teaching methods. She believes in making learning a joyful experience and often incorporates singing and other techniques to create a lively and engaging classroom environment.
Joana's dedication to her students goes beyond language instruction. She naturally creates a supportive and encouraging atmosphere where students feel empowered to explore and express themselves in French. Her warmth and enthusiasm make her a beloved figure among learners of all ages.
Allow us to introduce Sophie, our esteemed FLE (Français Langue Étrangère) graduate, who brings a lot of experience and creativity to our team. With a passion for teaching beginners, Sophie possesses a great talent for making learning both effective and unforgettable through her creativity.
Sophie's expertise goes beyond traditional language instruction, with a specialization in pronunciation. She understands the importance of clear and accurate pronunciation in mastering a new language.
Having worked in various Alliances Françaises across the globe, particularly in Latin America, Sophie brings a diverse cultural perspective to her teaching. Her experiences in countries like Chile have enriched her understanding of language acquisition and intercultural communication, further enhancing her effectiveness as an educator.
In addition to her role as a language teacher, Sophie is also an accomplished artist. She frequently incorporates art and expression into her teaching methods. Using natural pigments in her paintings, Sophie encourages her students to explore art as a means of language practice and cultural understanding.
Sophie's holistic learning is evident in her organization of artistic and physical expression courses, where students have the opportunity to engage their minds and bodies in the creative process. Meet Santiago, a versatile and dedicated team member at Fare Om. With a passion for holistic well-being and environmental sustainability, Santiago brings valuable expertise to our community.
As a qualified and certified sports coach, Santiago guides our guests through fitness sessions, tailored to individual needs and goals. His commitment to physical health extends to the practice of yoga, where he shares his knowledge of breathing and meditation techniques with participants.
In addition to his proficiency in sports and yoga, Santiago is fluent in English, making him a meaningful asset for our international guests. His ability to communicate effectively ensures that everyone feels welcome and understood during their time at Fare Om.
Santiago's connection with American visitors is particularly strong, as he regularly leads sessions with groups from the United States on Moorea.
Beyond his expertise in sports and yoga, Santiago is also committed to permaculture and sustainable living. At Fare Om, he oversees our educational garden, where he practices permaculture principles to cultivate healthy, organic produce for our community. His intimate knowledge of local botany enhances our understanding and appreciation of Moorea's natural environment.

Introducing Maud, an integral part of the Fare Om team, whom the beauty of Polynesia has enchanted for the past six years. Alongside Isabelle, Maud plays a pivotal role in managing Fare Om, ensuring that every guest's experience is exceptional.
With her warm and welcoming demeanor, Maud takes care of all our guests and ensures their comfort and satisfaction. Whether it's answering questions, solving problems, or providing assistance, Maud is the go-to person for all inquiries and needs.
Logistics and transport are Maud's forte, and she orchestrates arrangements to ensure smooth transitions for our guests throughout their stay. From airport pickups to organizing excursions, Maud's attention to detail and organizational skills guarantee that everything runs like clockwork.
Beyond her administrative duties, Maud is also passionate about sharing her love for Polynesian culture. An avid practitioner of va'a (pirogue), she takes delight in introducing participants to this traditional Polynesian canoeing sport, offering an authentic experience on the waters of Moorea.

Meet Adeline, a proud native of Moorea and an integral part of our team at Fare Om. With her deep roots in the local community, Adeline brings unique knowledge and expertise to our cultural activities.
Adeline's role is multifaceted, as she not only maintains the Fare Om premises but also specializes in organizing and leading cultural activities for our guests. Her passion for preserving and sharing Polynesian traditions is evident in everything she does.
Known for her exceptional craftsmanship, Adeline possesses "golden fingers" when it comes to creating Polynesian specialties. In addition to his linguistic talents, Santo is also a culinary maestro in the kitchen, drawing on his Sicilian origins to craft fresh pasta dishes that showcase the flavors of his heritage. With Santo at the helm, every meal is a culinary journey through the Mediterranean.
But Santo's talents don't stop there – he is also a professional musician, specializing in the saxophone. His passion for rhythm and music shines through as he hosts evenings and workshops that celebrate the power of music to uplift the spirit and bring people together. Having lived in Puerto Rico and the United States for over 15 years, Santo brings a wealth of musical influences to his performances.
