Guests gathered around a table of Polynesian dishes at Fare Om
Fare Om, Moorea · since 2017

A guesthouse, not a hotel. That's the point.

How it started

In 2017 Isabelle opened Fare Om on Moorea: a place to stay, eat well and slow down. She also founded the Learn French in Tahiti program. Isabelle holds an MBA from HEC Paris, one of Europe's leading business schools, and has deep experience of tourism in French Polynesia.

Today university groups from the United States come for up to four weeks. So do adult learners from Australia, New Zealand and England, on their own or with their Alliance Française. They come for the French. They leave with friends, a few dance steps and a lot more confidence.
